Please read the following terms and conditions carefully prior to your stay. By making a booking with Cally Escapes you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. MAKING A BOOKING
Guests must be 18 years of age or over to make a booking.
Bookings may be made directly through our website or through third-party platforms such as Booking.com or Airbnb. A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email.
We strongly recommend that guests arrange suitable travel or holiday insurance to cover unexpected cancellations or travel disruptions.

2. PAYMENTS
Payment terms will be shown during the booking process.
Depending on the rate selected, a deposit may be required at the time of booking with the remaining balance due before arrival.
Bookings made within the balance payment period must be paid in full at the time of booking.

3. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in is from 15:00 (3:00 PM) on the day of arrival.
Check-out is by 10:30 AM on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Arrival instructions and access details will be provided prior to your stay.

4. OCCUPANCY
Only the number of guests stated in the booking are permitted to stay at the property unless agreed in advance.
The person making the booking is responsible for the behaviour and actions of all guests within their party.

5. CARE OF THE PROPERTY
Guests are expected to treat the property with care and respect during their stay.
The accommodation should be left clean, tidy and in a reasonable condition upon departure.
Any damages, breakages or issues should be reported during your stay.

6. DAMAGES
Guests are responsible for any damage, breakage or loss caused during their stay.
The cost of repair or replacement may be charged if items are damaged, removed or lost.
Accommodation left in an excessively dirty condition may result in an additional cleaning charge.

7. SMOKING
All Cally Escapes properties are strictly non-smoking.

8. BEHAVIOUR
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards neighbours and the surrounding community.
Excessive noise, anti-social behaviour or damage to the property may result in termination of the stay without refund.

9. ITEMS LEFT BEHIND
If an item is left behind and can be posted, we will arrange its return subject to postage and packaging costs being covered.
Items that cannot be posted will be held for 14 days to allow time for collection.

10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Cally Escapes cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
Personal items are left at the guest’s own risk.

11. ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY
We reserve the right to enter the property at reasonable times if required for maintenance, safety checks or emergency repairs.

12. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation terms will be shown during the booking process and may vary depending on the rate selected.

For direct bookings made through the Cally Escapes website:

If a booking is cancelled 14 days or more before the arrival date, any payments made will be refunded in full.

If a booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the arrival date, the total booking amount may be non-refundable unless the property is successfully re-booked for the same dates.

If we are able to re-let the accommodation for the same dates and price, a refund may be issued at our discretion.

All cancellations must be made in writing via email.. We strongly recommend that guests arrange appropriate travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, illness, or travel disruptions.

13. FORCE MAJEURE
Cally Escapes cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control including severe weather, natural disasters, power outages or other unforeseen events that may affect your stay.

14. HOLIDAY LET NOTICE
The booking agreement confers the right to occupy the accommodation for a holiday only and does not create a tenancy under the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988.

15. WEBSITE USE
All content on this website, including text, images and branding, is the property of Cally Escapes unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, reproduced or redistributed without permission.
